PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- DUI cases in Philadelphia are under new scrutiny after police admitted breathalyzers may not have been calibrated correctly.

A defense attorney discovered the breath test machines were using an expired solution.

Police say the breathalyzers were fixed yesterday and returned to service, but going forward new protocols will be taken.

The District Attorney's Office will review whether any evidence was compromised.
