DRIVING ATV ON THE HIGHWAY IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER: 3 KIDS INJURED IN A CAR AND ATV COLLISION






Three kids seriously injured in Becker County ATV crash

 ERIE TOWNSHIP, Minn. – Three young children were hospitalized after the all-terrain vehicle they were riding on near here collided with a car Monday morning, July 4, in Becker County.


The ATV one of the children was driving pulled in front of the car on County Highway 32 about a mile south of the intersection with County Highway 27, which resulted in a collision, according to a release from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office.

The 8-year-old driver and one of her two 4-year-old passengers were injured and flown to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. The other 4-year-old was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes. All three were seriously injured, the release said.

The three children were wearing helmets. No one in the car was hurt.
