At least five people were injured in a house fire in Westchester County after they jumped from the 3-story building





At least five people were injured in a house fire Wednesday afternoon in Westchester County.

The fire caused a partial roof collapse of the house at 20 Claremont Avenue in Mount Vernon.

Four of those who were injured jumped from the burning 3-story home.

Three people were taken to Jacobi Medical Center and two to Montefiore Hospital.

The severity of the injuries is not yet known.

The house was completely destroyed.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.
