NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at an Applebee's restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia.

The fire started shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday at the restaurant located at Welsh and the Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officials say fire was showing from the walls and roof areas.

The fire was brought under control around 8:46 p.m.

Everyone was able to make it out of the restaurant safely, officials say.

No injuries have been reported.

No word from the fire department on what caused the blaze at this time.Grease fire is suspected as the cause and origin of the fire.
