US-24 near Rossville reopens after diesel spill

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The diesel spill that shut down a stretch of US-24, about one mile west of Rossville, has been cleaned up and the road is back open, according to KDOT.

Officials told 13 NEWS that both east and westbound lanes were closed for traffic after a semi overturned and spill fuel at US-24 and Arn Road. It reopened around 4:15 p.m.
The trailer ended up on its side with the roof ripped open.
Officials told 13 NEWS that everyone involved in the crash declined medical attention.
