One person was killed Monday after a tanker truck and another vehicle collided in Rosemead, officials said.

The crash was reported about 5:10 p.m. near the intersection of North San Gabriel Boulevard and North Potrero Grande Drive, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervisor Micheal Pittman.

An occupant in the smaller vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

About 25 gallons of motor oil spilled after the crash, Pittman said.
