6 injured after a West Nipissing Police Service boat and a civilian pleasure boat collided on the Sturgeon River last Saturday in Ontario, Canada

A West Nipissing Police Service boat and a civilian pleasure boat collided on the Sturgeon River last Saturday at 7:30 pm.

The OPP say two of the four people in the pleasure boat and both West Nipissing Police officers sustained minor injuries and were met on shore by the District of West Nipissing Emergency Medical Services.

Both boats sustained major damage and had to be towed to shore. The collision is still under investigation.
