1 dead, 1 injured in violent single speeding vehicle crash on Route 130 in Burlington, N.J.


Police say one person is dead after a crash on northbound Route 130 in Burlington, New Jersey.
Police say one person is dead and another hospitalized after a violent, single-vehicle crash on northbound Route 130 crash New Jersey.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday near Beverly Road in Burlington.

Police say it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a pole, splitting the car in two.

Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed a silver-colored sedan in two pieces.

The back half of the car was located more than a hundred feet from the front half.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another was taken to an area hospital with multiple injuries.

There is no word on that person's condition.  He will not do that again, as s/he reached the final destination.

Route 130 northbound remains closed at scene of the crash.
