Wrong-way driver kills 2, critically injures 2 near Fillmore, Utah on I-15



FILLMORE, Utah 

Officials said two people have been killed and two more are in critical condition after an accident just south of Fillmore Wednesday morning.

Authorities said a wrong-way driver was going northbound in the southbound lanes of I-15 and crashed into another car near mile post 157 just south of Fillmore in Millard County.

The wrong-way driver is in critical condition.

The other car was carrying three people; two died and the other is in critical condition.

The northbound lanes are open at this time however drivers on I-15 southbound should expect delays.

Traffic is being diverted at the Meadows Exit 158 over to Kanosh and then back to I-15 at mile marker 148.

Troopers have not said why the person may have been driving the wrong way.
Officials have not said if drugs or alcohol were a factor at this time.

The names of those involved have not been released.
