Jet skis collide at Lattins Cove in Danbury, CT; 2 suffered minor injuries

DANBURY, CT

Two jet skis collided at the Lattins Cove boat launch on Candlewood Lake Sunday afternoon, the DEEP said.

The jet ski riders sustained minor injuries. They declined medical treatment at the scene, but one victim took himself to Danbury Hospital with a possible arm or wrist injury, DEEP said.

The DEEP Environmental Conservation (EnCon) Police along with the Danbury police, fire and EMS responded to the scene.

The State EnCon Police are continuing to investigate the accident.

A boat and jet ski were involved in an accident at Lattins Cove in Danbury on Sunday afternoon.

Most of the responding emergency vehicles were called off shortly after the incident, according to police communications. 

The patients decided they didn’t want to be brought to the hospital, according to police communications.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection could not be reached to provide more information.
