Firefighters say a blaze at a Fresno County trucking facility caused up to a half million dollars in damage on Sunday. The flames broke out just before 9 a.m. near Lincoln Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.

The fire damaged two trucks and five trailers, including one that was full of bell peppers. It also sent dark smoke billowing into the sky. Cal Fire crews used foam to help smother the burning debris.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials say it appears to possibly be a mechanical issue.
