MONTGOMERY COUNTY, OHIO —

A driver who ran from the scene of a crash on southbound Interstate 75 early Thursday morning returned to the scene and was arrested for OVI.

Just before 3 a.m., police responded to I-75 near the Benchwood Avenue exit and found a SUV had crashed into the rear of a parked A&A roadwork truck.

The driver of the SUV ran from the scene, but was driven back to the scene a short time later, troopers said. When she returned, troopers smelled alcohol and gave her a field sobriety test. She was then arrested for OVI.

The crash did not impact traffic, and no one was injured.
