GILBERTSVILLE, Ky. (AP) -

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Captain Garry Clark says six people are being treated for burns after a boat caught fire at Moors Resort in Marshall County.  Clark did not provide their names, ages or conditions, but tells Local 6 there were five adults and one baby on the boat.

Three people were flown to Vanderbilt Hospital.  Three others were taken to Lourdes Hospital and Baptist Health Paducah.

Clark says the boat's operator had filled the gas tank and was attempting to start the engine when for unknown reasons the boat exploded around 4:30pm Sunday.

Moors Resort owner Mark Wood tells Local 6 the injuries appear to be non-life threatening.  He says the victims live in the area and were using Moors Resort to launch their boat.
