2 hospitalized after chlorine pump leak reported at a pool at Kemah Boardwalk in Texas


Two people were apparently injured after a possible chlorine leak was reported inside of a parking garage at Kemah Boardwalk. 
KEMAH, Texas - 

Two people were apparently injured after a chlorine leak was reported inside of a parking garage at Kemah Boardwalk, according to Kemah Police.

The leak was reportedly in a swimming pool pump located in the garage.

The isolated area was closed as the situation was investigated, according to Mark Kane, Divisional Vice Presidents of Theme Park Operations.

The two injured were apparently overcome by the fumes and were taken to the hospital. They are currently in stable condition, police said.

No evacuations were ordered and the boardwalk is open for business as usual, officials said.
