2 construction workers injured in interior wall collapse at Midtown building under demolition



Two construction workers were hurt Friday after a wall collapsed in a Midtown Manhattan building that is in the process of being demolished.

It happened Friday at 317 Madison Avenue, which is near East 42nd Street.

Emergency officials said an interior wall collapsed, and no rescue operations were needed to get the two injured workers out.

One worker suffered serious injuries, but we're told they're not life threatening. Another worker had minor injuries.

No significant structural damage to the building occurred.
