PROVIDENCE AND WORCESTER RAILROAD WORKERS HURT ON TRACKS IN LISBON, CONNECTICUT AFTER A MAINTENANCE VEHICLE HIT THE BACK OF A TRAIN

LISBON, CT (WFSB)

State police are looking into an incident that left rail employees hurt in Lisbon Tuesday morning.

Troopers said a maintenance vehicle hit the back of a train that was on the tracks in the River Road area.

The employees that were involved were not seriously hurt. Their injuries were described minor.

Troopers said the employees and train are part of the Providence and Worcester Railroad.

No roads were closed as a result of the incident.
