PIPER PA-24-250 COMANCHE PLANE MAKES HARD LANDING AT HOOKS AIRPORT IN HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS

A small plane made a hard landing and went off the runway at Hooks Airport in northwest Harris County Tuesday afternoon.

The pilot and passenger are OK.

The single-engine Piper PA-24 had brake problems and the nose gear collapsed when it landed, according to the FAA.
