Two people were killed in a crash in the North End early Friday morning.

A BMW convertible flipped on Commercial and Charter Street just before 3 a.m.
“Just one huge noise and it woke me up,” a resident of the neighborhood told WBZ-TV.

Three men in their 20’s were in the car at the time of the accident, according to Boston Police.

Two died and the third person was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital in critical condition.

Police told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 speed was a possible factor in the crash.

WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Kim Tunnicliffe reported that all three people were ejected from the car.

There’s no word yet on what caused the accident.

Boston EMS told WBZ-TV the convertible hit a parked car.

For a few minutes of high speed adrenaline rush, this young man and his friends reached their final destination.  Hopefully other people will take notice and avoid the kind of behavior that eye-witnesses observed.

Darwin law at play here: survival of the fittest or demise of the reckless or stupid.  RIP.
