MAY 26, 2015

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND (WUSA9)

A small business jet with two passengers on board experienced a mechanical issue upon arrival at BWI Airport Tuesday morning, says airport spokesperson Jonathan Dean.

The problem happened upon or just after landing as it was going from the runway to the taxiway at 8:15 a.m. The front nose gear of the plane went off the runway into the grass, but no one was injured, according to Dean.

The words "United States of America" can be seen on the side of the plane. The plane looks similar to a Cessna Citation.

Commercial operations have not been impacted by the incident.

The incident remains under investigation.
