Missing is 29-year-old Phillip Davis, a 5-foot 9-inch black man wearing orange swim trunks.
The Coast Guard requests good Samaritans help search the area off Kemah in the water and along the shoreline on the Seabrook side toward Red Bluff Point. The winds are 20 knots from the south-southeast with 2-4 foot waves.
People aboard the sailboat Sea Dreams called Coast Guard watchstanders at 3:22 p.m. to report the missing man. It was reported that he jumped in for a swim and others aboard immediately contacted the Coast Guard as the sailboat drifted and they lost sight of him.
If anyone has any information or sights Mr. Davis, please contact the U.S. Coast Guard at 281-464-4855.
