JACKSON, MI

A Jackson High School junior, former secretary and her sister have been identified as the three killed in a Sunday evening crash on I-94.

Police have not identified the victims, but WLNS and Jackson High principal Barbara Baird-Pauli said junior Maseo Moore, 16, former secretary Ella Blackwell, 74, and her 77-year-old sister, Ethel Brinstone, were killed in the wreck.

"Maseo was certainly a young man people were fond of. He's that ray of sunshine in the classroom," Baird-Pauli told the Citizen Patriot. "In reality, as large of a school we are, the death of a student brings the student body closer together, especially those juniors.

"The next few days are going to be difficult for our students and faculty."

Classmates and friends took to Twitter with the hashtag #RIPMaseo to share memories and photos remembering the high school junior. Baird-Pauli said the school is providing grief counseling to students Tuesday, May 26.
