ORMOND BEACH, FLORIDA

Interstate 95 was shut down after a tanker truck carrying watermelons crashed Tuesday night in Volusia Beach.

All lanes were blocked shortly before 10 p.m. near mile marker 227 in Ormond Beach while emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage and contain a fuel leak.

The crash involved two semi-trucks. According to Florida Highway Patrol, one of the drivers was cited for careless driving.

The drivers of both trucks received minor injuries, and watermelons were everywhere, firefighters said.
