FIERY CRASH LEAVES ONE INJURED IN DANVILLE, KENTUCKY

DANVILLE, BOYLE COUNTY, KENTUCKY

Authorities in Boyle County responded to a crash causing two cars to catch fire with the driver still inside one of the vehicles.  

The accident happened around 1:30 Sunday morning on North Fourth Street in Danville. 

Danville Police tell LEX 18 that Christopher Burton, 27, crashed into a van parked in front of the Masonic Lodge. 

The two vehicles caught fire, with Burton still behind the wheel. Crews were able to put out the flames and get Burton out. 

Burton was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Danville Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
