TRINITY, N.C.

Emergency crews in Trinity responded to the scene of a train derailment on Monday.

The derailment happened on Blair Farm Road off of Prospect Street.
Four cars reportedly went off the track.

There is no word on any injuries or what caused the derailment.

Crews said the train is blocking several driveways on Blair Farm Road.
They were not sure how long it will take to move the cars.

So many derailments have occurred the recent weeks that they got the attention of the public.  And these people dare transport millions of oil and other hazarous chemicals through these defective rails.  With the increased economic activity and transportation of these hazardous material, it is only a matter of time until a deadly disaster hits a community.  We will keep saying our prayers.
