GREELEY, COLORADO

Levi Allen will be sentenced on Tuesday for causing a hash oil explosion in Carr, Colorado on Aug. 11, 2013.

Levi Allen and Clayton Smith were attempting to manufacture marijuana concentrate inside Lavonne Bessier's home when the process caused an explosion, blowing out the windows and lifting off the roof of the home.

Allen and Smith were both injured in the explosion. They were treated for their injuries at North Colorado Medical Center.

A 7-year-old boy was in the home at the time of the explosion. He was also injured and taken to the hospital.

Allen was found guilty of manufacturing marijuana concentrate, arson and child abuse.  A “father of the year” for sure (sarcasm here).
