INTERSTATE I-80 IS SLICK IN MANY AREAS.  MANY ACCIDENTS REPORTED: SEMI-TRUCK DRIVER IN CRITICAL CONDITION; I-80 SHUT DOWN AFTER ACCIDENT IN LINCOLN, NEBRASKA

Lincoln, Nebraska. -- Lincoln Police tell 10/11 News a semi-truck driver is in the hospital and in critical condition. 


LPD and Nebraska State Patrol have shut down west-bound lanes on interstate-80 between 56th street and 27th street in Lincoln.


LPD reports a semi-truck accident with serious injuries.


West bound Waverly exit have been shut down. East bound 27th Street exit is closed. East bound NW 48th street exit is also closed.


LPD recommend people who are traveling east-bound to exit 9th street near Downtown Lincoln.


The also ask people to stay away from the site, because it is causing more accidents. LPD said the roads on the interstate are slick. There have been numerous accidents, with no serious injuries.
