TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10)—

Crews worked through the night to repair a gas leak that occurred over the weekend in Troy.

The Troy Fire Department was called by National Grid around 10 p.m. to assist in repairing the leak on 2nd Street near Adam Street.  As a precaution, families in four different homes were evacuated.

Assistant Fire Chief James Hughs says gas readings were so high at one point they pulled the meters on the homes to eliminate sources of ignition.
