The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) has been notified of a spill at a Rolfson Oil bulk fuel storage tank farm in Alexander.

Danco Transport released 400 gallons of diesel fuel after a valve was left open as a truck was offloading the fuel into a tank farm. The release impacted water in an unnamed tributary to Lonesome Creek. The spill has been contained at this time.

NDDoH has responded and will assist with remediation plans.
