LINDALE, TX (KLTV) - Police responded to a single-vehicle wreck Thursday on Interstate 20 in Lindale.

The wreck, involving an 18-wheeler, happened near Exit 552, about half a mile from Toll 49. The wreck blocked eastbound lanes of the interstate.

Police say the driver of a Black Hawk Transport Inc. truck lost control of his vehicle and it jack-knifed.

The driver of the truck said he hit a slick spot in the road about and his trailer began fishtailing. He was unable to get the vehicle under control and the truck traveled about half a mile before crashing into the concrete wall of the median and jack-knifing. The driver was not injured in the crash.
