SAN FRANCISCO, california (KGO) --

Police in San Francisco are looking into whether three fires set in the city's Castro neighborhood Monday morning are connected.

The first fire happened just before 4 a.m. at 19th and Castro streets. A truck there was burned and suffered significant damage.

About 30 minutes later, arson investigators were called to a fire on Hartford Street, a few blocks away. It started in a garbage can and spread to a home there.

According to the Chronicle, a third fire also broke out on Hartford, right across the street.
