FLAMES RIP THROUGH HOUSE IN FAIR LAWN, NEW JERSEY



Flames rip through house in Fair Lawn









FAIR LAWN — Firefighters were battling a two-alarm blaze at a house on 5th Street, near Lambert Road, late Friday afternoon. 

Photos from the scene showed flames shooting through the roof of the building with thick smoking pouring from the second floor. 

The fire was reported around 2:45 p.m. and was still burning about two hours later, according to police. The residents were home when the flames broke out, but managed to escape. 

There were no serious injuries, police said.
