Delays, no injuries after fire truck strikes Green Line trolley in Boston, Massachusetts


A fire truck struck a trolley on the MBTA Green Line Tuesday morning, a transportation spokesman said.

The E branch trolley was traveling along Huntington Avenue when a fire truck hit it around 8:15 a.m., said Joe Pesaturo, a spokesman for the public transit agency.

No injuries were reported.

The MBTA website alerted commuters to moderate delays on the Green Line E branch due to the accident.
