2-ALARM FIRE DAMAGES BUSINESS NEAR HOBBY AIRPORT HOUSTON, TEXAS

HOUSTON, TX-- Firefighters and hazmat teams were called to a business near Hobby Airport late Sunday.

The two-alarm fire was reported at a tool manufacturing facility on Hansen near Tallyho around 10 p.m.

Firefighters said the hazmat team was called in because of several tanks on the property, but the hazardous materials were never a problem as crews battled the fire.

The fire was brought under control and put out, but heavy smoke could be seen billowing from all sides of the building. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
